I know that I didn't post anything last week, I was a little under the weather. So this week I'm gonna talk about one of my favorites, xxxHOLiC. So just to save time this entire thing is a spoiler for the manga.
To make this go faster I'll go through all the things that I think are important to the story's plot. Okay so while Watanuki is walking home he is being chased by a spirit and he trips. In an attempt to get up he touches a fence, once he touches the fence the spirit disappears. Then Watanuki ends up in the store where he meets Yuko, Maru, and Moro. Then while he's working Syaoran and Sakura appear and soon are followed by Fai and Kurogane. Watanuki goes to retrieve the Mokonas, which means the black Mokona becomes a new character in the story. After the group leaves things continue as normal...or as normal as xxxHOLiC can get. So one day Watanuki is walking by Domeki's temple and Domeki tells Watanuki to help with the cleaning. While cleaning Watanuki gets caught in a spider web and Domeki destroys the web, this angers the spider, who lays a web across Domeki's eye. Watanuki wants to help Domeki even if he hates Domeki, so he gives the spider his eye. The spider removes the web from Domeki eye. Domeki gets upset with what Watanuki did. Then while trying to save Zaki Warashi, she tried to get Watanuki's eye back, he found the spider lady who took his eye and Zaki Warashi. Wanuki tries to bargin for the life of Zaki Warashi but the spider lady doesn't like it when people give themselves up to help another person if they tried to help that person. In the end Watanuki looses his eye. Ok so now things get darker. While walking in the hall with Himaware, Watanuki falls out a window almost killing himself. Inorder to save his life Himaware takes Watanuki's scars, and Domeki gives blood...I think that, part was kinda confusing. And the real Syaoran payed a price to save Watanuki. To shorten things up Watanuki gets better, he finds out he's a dream walker or something. Yuko's store starts to deteriorate because it's almost time for Yuko to leave. When Yuko does leave Watanuki learns that Yuko should've been dead long ago but Clow Reed made a wish for her to live longer. After Yuko leaves no one remembers her. The only people that remeber Yuko is Watanuki, Domeki because he shares an eye with Watanuki, Himaware because she has a bird given to her by Watanuki that was originally from Yuko, the fortune teller that was good friends with Yuko, Maru, Moro, and Mokona because they were creations made by Yuko. Also Syaoran, Sakura, Fai, Kurogane, and Mokona remember Yuko. (by the way Syaoran, Fai, Kurogane, and Mokona visit the store) So after a few weeks without Yuko something strange happens. Watanuki is pulled into another world where he learns that he and Syaoran are the same person. In this world he also decides to stay in the store until Yuko comes back. Which means he can never leave the store becuase he no longer has a soul. He runs the store for four years and after those years he gets a dream with Yuko in it and he doesn't understand the meaning of it. So that's as far as the story has gotten. I know i forgot some characters but that's only because I don't like them. If you have a problem with this then tell me and I will change my description of the story.
Now it's time for my favorite characters.
1) Yuko Ichihara-Yuko is a witch if you want to call her. She is known as the Space Time Witch because she has the power to allow people to travel through time and space. She also grants wishes as long as the person can pay the right price. Her favorite color is red. She loves to just lay around, smoke, drink and torture Watanuki.
2) Kimihiro Watanuki- Watanuki was orphaned as a younge boy when his parents died trying to protect him. In his blood runs something that atracts spirits. He works for Yuko inorder to pay for the wish he wants. His wish is to get rid of the spirits. He loves to cook, and he's a pretty good cleaner. He loves Himaware, he hates Domeki but he is secretly Domeki's good friend. His birthday is April 1st and is the same person as Syaoran.
3) Shizuka Domeki- Domeki has lived with his grandfather in the temple since he was a little boy. When he was little he was dressed as a girl and forced to walk around like that inorder to get rid of any fear. That's why he never smiles or has any facial feature...normally. He never admits that he doesn't like Watanuki but he never says that he likes him either. But Domeki loves to eat Watanuki's cooking. He can eat an entire Bento box by himself!
4)Mokona- This Mokona is used to communicte with Syaoran and the others, much more in the manga then in the anime. Mokona is just as popular with the ladies as is the white Mokona. This Mokona is mean to Watanuki sometimes he likes to torture Watanuki as well. Also just like the white Mokona he like to drink alot just like Yuko.
5 & 6) Maru and Moro- I love thes girls! They are so cute in the way they talk! I also noticed that they kinda symbolise good and bad. Maru wears more of the darker stuff and Moro wears more pink. And just like Watanuki they don't have souls so they can't leave the store.
7) Himaware- I forget her name so I'm not going to put it in. She loves Watanuki but since he can't leave the store she married someone else. She tells Watanuki that she has always brought people bad luck and that's why he fell out the window.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles
So like I said in my first post I would talk about Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. I can't believe what happens in the books! I noticed that in both xxxHOLiC and Tsubasa that every thing is happy and calm for a while then...BAM! Everything changes and suddenly becomes darker and not as cheerful. I don't mind it, it's just kinda wierd.
Anways the first seasson was very good, I actually watched the tv series before I began to read the manga. When I first watched and read Tsubasa, I noticed that there were a few extra episodes in the tv series that weren't in the manga. I liked the episodes alot and it was only a few episodes. But when I watched the second seasson I was kind of dissapointed. They completely changed the order of some of the episodes and they added in more then one episode. I actually skipped three episodes cause they were in a world that wasn't in the original manga. Even after they left that world I was able to fallow the whole story line as if the group never went to that world!
Enough about that I think I'll talk about the characters; inorder of my favorite characters.
1.Fai D. Flowright: I simply adore Fai! If he was a real person I would love to meet him and date him...ok a bit much, I'll just continue to talk about him. Well when we first meet him he seems all happy and carefree. But in the second sesson of Tsubasa you begin to see the true Fai. Later in the manga you deffinately see more of the true Fai. *SPOILER ALERT* Later in the manga Fai turns into a vampire (sexier then Edward Cullen) because Syaoran takes his eye almost killing Fai and Kurogane saves him by becoming his "prey". The only way Fai will return to normal is if he gets his eye back; which he eventually does. But before that can happen we find out that he is in fact a twin! His twin's name is Fai!! If you have not gotten that far I bet your confused, well Fai's real name is actually Yui. I wont give the details but Fai dies and Yui lives but Yui decides to take Fai's name to keep him "alive". I wont ruin anymore details but things deffinately change with Fai.
2.Syaoran: I like syaoran because he also has a lot of secrets. *SPOILER ALERT* Everyone thinks that he is just a good person who wants to help Sakura but in fact he is a clone of the real Syaoran. He turns out to be mean and kind of cold hearted and only wants to find all of Sakura's feathers. So he leaves the group with Fai's stolen eye to retrieve all of Sakura's feathers alone. He ends up dieing but that's because he sacrifices him self for the real Syaoran proving that he did infact begin to grow a heart. Since the clone and the real Syaoran are pretty much the same I'm not going into a long discussion about the real Syaoran but his real name is...Tsubasa!
3. Kurogane: I like Kurogane because he has a big temper and doesn't take crap from anyone, he's kind of like me. I don't go around killing people though. Ok well in the beginning of the story he doesn't particularly like Fai, but he becomes "prey" for Fai inorder to keep him alive. Then he kills Ashura to save Fai. The he cuts off his own arm to save Fai from the destroying World. Don't worry, if you haven't gotten that far in the manga, Kurogane doesn't go around with one arm he ends up getting a metal arm. But throughout the story he stays loyal to Tomoyo he also stays as grumpy as ever through out the story. Oh and one more thing his real name is...Yoo. The name is suppose to have little arrow thingies over it but I can't do it but his name means "hawk king".
4. Mokona Modoki: Mokona is so freaken cute even if you don't like Mokona you have to admit she is cute! I know most people don't know if it is a he or a she, but in the anime they use a girlie voice for the white Mokona and a more boyish voice for the black Mokona. Well Mokona doesn't really change through out the story, she does get worried about her friends alot. She also has a lot of secret skills! If anyone can name all of them then you are a true Mokona expert!
5.Sakura: I don't really like her. I'm not really sure why but Syaoran does seem to truelly love her. *SPOILER ALERT* Sakura once had the black wings of death on her so Syaoran made a wish to save her. The wish was to turn back time. This wish destroyed alot of things but it also created Watanuki (xxxHOLiC). I don't particularly like her so I don't really focus on her. Her real name is...you ready for this people! Her name is Tsubasa!
Well that's all I have to say about Tsubasa. Next time I'll talk about xxxHOLiC. Oh i also have the Sakura plush, I want the Mokona Plush, and the Syaoran plush. I hope the come out with a Kurogane and Fai plush!

HELLO WORLD!!
My first post! Well I should probably tell you why I started this. I decided to do this cause I love anime and manga and most people in my family and most of my friends don't like it....so I decided to create a blog where I will rate different series and just talk about anime and manga in general.
As of recent I am in the process of reading Vampire Knight, Maid-Sama, Ouran High School Host Club, Fullmetal Alchemist, Wallflower, xxxHOLiC, Black Bird, and D-Gray Man. I've finished reading Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Millenium Snow, Mamotte Lollipop, and Beast Master.
I have watched the entire 1st and 2nd sesson and the movie from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, I am waiting to buy Tokyo Revolations. I watched sesson 1 and the xxxHOLiC movie, I hope Funimation decides to dub xxxHOLiC key (I think that's what it's called). I have watched sesson 1 and 2 of D-Gray. Man. I watched all of Save Me Lollipop. I have watched all of Vampire Knight. I have seen Ouran High School Host Club. I am currently watching Fullmetal Alchemist. I have seen sesson 1 of Wallflower. I am also watching Maid-Sama (in Japanese of course). I have finished watching Death Note. I have also finished Peach Girl, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and Kodocha.
I think in my next post I will review Tsubasa Reservoir Chonicles. As you can see I clearly like Anime and Manga alot!! In fact I will be hopefully attending Otacon this year!
